Space by us- men experienced by means of our bodies is the space of situations enforced a body for continuous movement and adaptation; ; our body must continuously equal with environment. Measurement with using own body as the staring point. Because a modern man of the West stands himself in the central position, the special place was created; an individual stand: the person (personae). The starting point is here standing himself centrally the body, with own, typical for it size. The stand and the perspective, the place in the world become bodily experience. That experience of space has concrete measures. Finally all may be measured either by means of suitable measurement, devices or by means own body. That measure in relation to the world of experience creates very concrete factor. Forming itself world of experiences uses, consciously or not, that concrete base. Consciousness of that concrete base development of that process all levels to it related give man possibility of forming a picture of himself and also marking the place in the world for other people and their environment. Meten met het eigen lichaam als uitgangspunt. Doordat de moderne westerse mens in staat is zichzelf centraal te stellen ontstaat er een individueel standpunt; de personae. Het uitgangspunt hierbij is het zich zelf centraalstellende lichaam , met de eigen maten. Standpunt en perspectief, het staan in de wereld, wordt een lichamelijke beleving. Deze beleving van de ruimte geeft concrete maten. Uit eindelijk is alles te bemeten met meet instrumenten of met het eigen lichaam. Vertaald naar de eigen belevingswereld is de maat een concrete factor. De zich vormende belevingswereld maakt , bewust of onbewust, gebruik van deze concrete basis. De bewust wording van deze concrete basis, en alle niveaus daarin, stelt de mens instaat zijn eigenbeeld te vormen en daarbij ook de plaats van de medemens en zijn omgeving.
